1: Draw the Natural Wheel

Draw a wheel with 12 equal-sized slices. Locate the beginning of the wheel and then label each slice with the house numbers and sign that is associated with it.
Add thick horizontal and vertical lines to create clearly defined quadrants
Shade the signs by modality (also called quadruplicity)

2: List Each Sign by Quadrant Location

Each sign falls in one of four quadrants. List the signs in each quadrant.

4: Reflect on the Meanings of the Quadruplicities

Look up the definition and etymology for each of the names of the quadruplicities - Cardinal, Fixed, and Mutable. Consider how those definition and etymology of each relates to the symbolic meaning of of its associated quadruplicity in astrology.
